Descriptive lines from coloured fountain pens map out the structure of the separate separates and high, tilted hair alignments, using rapid changes in nib pressure to anchor the pair with a light, studio-sketch quality.
The chosen colourway utilises the water-soluble properties of coloured fountain pen inks, creating a segmented layout across both forms. The left figure coordinates a bright cerulean blue top with a fluid, rose-pink skirt wash, while the right silhouette pairs a soft, graphite-grey bodice with a plum-toned patterned skirt featuring dense carbon ink spots, all grounded by minimal watercolour flesh highlights on the limbs and profiles.
